Woodshed support
Get help with Woodshed by Program Partner, the music practice app for band, orchestra, and choir.
Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, Woodshed version, and what happened. If possible, include the steps that reproduce the issue and a screenshot without student names or other private information. Never send passwords or assessment tokens.
Start practicing
Open Woodshed, choose a practice activity, select your instrument and exercise settings, and start. Ordinary practice does not require an account. Use Tools for the metronome and tuner.
Open a director’s exercise
Use the app’s “Open a director’s exercise link” option and paste the Woodshed link your teacher provided. Ordinary web links tapped outside the app may open the website instead. Program Partner pathway assessment links open the website in your browser and require an internet connection.
Tuner or audio trouble
Start the tuner before granting microphone permission. If access was denied, enable Woodshed’s microphone permission in device Settings. If you cannot hear the metronome, check device volume, silent mode, and connected headphones. Switching apps or receiving a call may interrupt audio; return to Woodshed and restart the tool.
Offline practice and saved work
Ordinary packaged practice activities work offline. Connected school assessments require internet access. Practice data stays in this app’s local storage and does not automatically transfer from Safari, another device, or a different app installation. Save important reports before removing the app.
School assessment questions
Contact your director for an assigned assessment link or questions about school-record results. For a technical issue, email support without including the private assessment token.
Purchases and refunds
